There are quite a number of reasons we need to think of solar home plans sooner than later. The world we are living in is running on borrowed time it seems. We cannot keep using resources at the rate we currently do. There are many alternatives nowadays, from wind power to solar energy, geothermal and so on. There is also plenty of controversy as to whether so called "green" fuels have the power to replace the almighty "OIL." We find out that looking into solar home plans takes us deep into the world of alternative fuels.
In light of things considered it would seem to make sense that if we CAN harness the sun's rays and store that energy for future use... we SHOULD harness said energy. In fact it seems like such a no brainer that it makes you pause and wonder why we don't see alternative sun powered cars and bikes everywhere. While definitely interesting and worth pursuing, the reasons for any suppression of green energy is outside scope of this article. The bottom line is I am not aware of many people who are opposed to a clean world to live and breath in. People who take the time to learn about clean energy and use solar home plans will undoubtedly leave the world a better place for others.
It was only in this century that we became aware of the photosensitive effect that is a combination of copper and cuprous oxideis. This led to Einstein publishing his paper on the photoelectric effect in 1905. (along with his theory of relativity) Then in 1908 William J. Bailley of the Carnegie Steel Company invented a solar collector with copper coils and an insulated box which is basically the modern design of the solar panel. Considering we are still using the basic layout of a design from 1908 it makes you wonder if there may be some amazing breakthroughs overdue here in photovoltaic technology. As a betting man I would wager that yes, we are only just getting out feet wet with green technologies and designs for passive solar homes etc.
The future of our planet will rely heavily on our ability to change and adapt. we have been able to do this for eons and I have a very optimistic outlook on the future of humanity although I do believe there will be a lot of pain before we realize our full potential. We are intrinsically connected to the earth we all share and live on. We are all composed of the same basic building blocks of life and without our sun shining on us daily the world over we cease to exist. The power of our sun is immense and staggering. It makes up 99% of the mass of our solar system... when it changes... we change with it, whether we want to or not.
